We are Adam, PK, and Billy

We enjoy playing songs of sincerity often abandoning ourselves to uncertain directions of noise, folly, chaos, primitive expressions, and endless jamming!!
ABOUT
Adam is the drummer. Some may know him as L-would, aka Tanaka or Lance Lurrrthur, with an emphasis on the ‘urrr’ in Lurrrthur. He hails from Athens, Ohio where he honed his drumming skills on hollowed out pieces of tree and stretched coonskins. If you happen to cross him after midnight it’s best to just keep on walking. He’s an awesome drummer and person, and he keeps the jam moving.
Paul ‘PK’ is the bass player. He is from Pittsburgh, PA and has been playing bass since before you were born. He is approachable at all hours of the day and night. If Adam is the train that keeps the jam rolling then PK is the dude shoveling coal into the stove. Constantly feeding the train low-end blasts that weave throughout the music like a python enveloping its prey. He’s an awesome bassist and person.
Billy plays guitar and sings most of the songs. He is a wild-catter from Washington, PA. He’s unpredictable, but also quite boring. Sure he can play a few licks and sing a few notes, but mostly he just writes songs and tries to stay out of the way of the silky jams being laid down by Adam and PK. Should you catch him on a night where his guitar playing and screeching didn’t distract too much from the rest of the music let him know. He’s got a delicate little ego and the encouragement would go a long way.
-As a musical trio we explore improvisational variations of our growing body of original songs rooted in sounds of Americana-Jazzy-Rock traditions. We are also known here and there to play a few cover tunes as we descend from, among others, the esoteric, yet ubiquitous school of the Grateful Dead. We leave open space for collaboration with other talented musicians. We try to create a canvas on which someone with a vision or idea can come and add their colors and brush strokes. We pride ourselves on never repeating the same show twice and rarely will we even play the same song the same way. Each note and moment is brief and only hangs there until the next one comes along to takes its place. When it’s all said and done we hope to have played a good song, show, event, career, and life.
